What we got up to in 2016/2017...

Tetney's Got Talent!

WOW! Tetney certainly has got talent! What an amazing show, hosted by the fabulous Mrs Dixon & featuring guest judges; Mrs Fearne, Mrs Cormack & Miss Dixon. It was clear to see the children all worked super hard on their acts and we had performances including gymnastics, dancing, singing, magic and comedy acting. Well done to all the children who took part and a super huge well done to Sienna -1st place, 4X4 - 2nd place and Alyssa - 3rd place.

Egyptian Day

To end the summer term history, the children of KS2 took part in an Egyptian themed day. We started with a breakfast banquet consisting of lots of food including; olives, pomegranates, figs, dates and much more. The children in the afternoon then took part in a carousel of activities, making canopic jars, deaths masks and Egyptian peg dolls. Thank you to all the children for a great day!

Sport's Day

We all had a brilliant Sport's Day, hope you all enjoyed it too. Please feel free to come fill in a comment card if you would like to share your thoughts, they are available at the school office.

The House Team winners were SIMMONDS!

Happy Anniversary!

Mrs Butterfield has worked at Tetney Primary school for 20 years! So we had a little afternoon tea to celebrate!

A huge thank you to Miss Johnson and all the Year 6s for our fantastic Skip-a-thon! We all had a brilliant time!

Tattershall Castle

As part of our topic KS1 went to Tattershall Castle.  FOTPS very kindly paid for our bus, however we were too little to see over the seats so Mrs Ashley-Irving couldn't take a photo! I hope you enjoy the photos of our day, we have a fantastic time exploring the castle, including the very high battlements! Making crowns and dressing up for a medieval dance! As you can see we were very tired when we got back!

Miss Winn, Mrs Dixon, Mrs Bramley and Mrs Wade had a fantastic time at PGL with children from year 5 and 6. This years activities included:

  • High ropes
  • Vertical challenge
  • Zip wires
  • Jacobs ladder
  • Archery
  • Tunnel trail
  • Trapeze

We had a great time!
