What we got up to in 2017/2018...

Sports Day 2018

The sun certainly shone for our sporting superstars, who thoroughly enjoyed taking part in all of the different activities available. The afternoon ended wonderfully with family and friends excitedly cheering on the children in the race for the finish line!

Wow! Look at how we learn with hands on scientific exploration.

How lucky we were that Mr Riddle, one of our governors, came into school to help Elm Class get up close to some of the organs found in the body for our exciting topic 'Blood heart'. This really helped the pupils to understand exactly how each of the organs looks, works...and feels!

Our children are super in every way!

Willow class started their term with a POW! Dressed as superheroes, they embarked on an exciting rescue mission around school.

The children of KS2 went to PGL at Caythorpe Court. They all supported and encouraged each other to try lots of new activities. This year they took on:

  • Fencing
  • Climbing wall
  • Zip wires
  • Jacobs ladder
  • Giant Swing
  • Orienteering
  • Trapeze

Everyone returned home very tired... but it was so worth it. It was amazing!
