I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website which will give you an idea of the exciting opportunities we offer at Tetney Primary School. Our aim is to give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and the extra-curricular activities we offer.
Here at Tetney, we believe very strongly that we will be judged by our actions and not by our words, therefore, strive to provide our children with a high quality education, enhanced by a caring, nurturing and positive atmosphere which promotes our core values. We know that pupils learn more effectively if they feel valued, happy and secure. Our successful and active School Council is led by staff member Vicky Dixon and pupil voice is truly at the heart of our practice here. You can visit our School Council page for more information.
We believe that parents have a very important role to play in the education of their child/ren and recognise the huge role you as parents play in your child’s education and endeavour to do all we can to support you in this; actively encouraging the close links and co-operation between home and school. We value and build on the experience and knowledge that pupils bring from their home lives, and we hope that you will share with us in making your child's time at primary school enjoyable and successful. We pride ourselves on open communication, so if you have any questions or comments regarding the education of your child/ren then please do not hesitate to inform us accordingly.
We work as a team and consider ourselves to be a ‘school family’. Working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and members of the wider community we will work passionately to raise aspirations, securing positive outcomes and personal success for all of our children.
If you wish to visit our school, we welcome you to make an appointment; please contact our Senior Administrator Mrs Zoe Littlewood on 01472 812074 to arrange an appointment to view our school.
