Frozen Kingdom

What's it all about?

Welcome to the planet’s coldest lands… Vast wilds and hostile territories – incredibly beautiful, year often deadly. Take shelter from the elements or fall prey to icy winds and the deepest chill. Trek bravely and valiantly across treacherous terrain to the ends of the Earth, trading deep in the snow or being pulled by a team of might sled dogs.

Be alert, magnificent mammals roam these lands, sometimes hungry or fresh for a fight. Perhaps a hungry polar bear or an arctic fox is hunting rodents.

Research facts and figures of climate, temperate, habitats and ecosystems and compose evocative poems about the Northern Lights.

What's it all about?

Shh.. whats that noise? A bash? A crash? A shake, a rattle or a low, bass hum? Which do you prefer – an acoustic singer or a booming brass band? A solitary voice singing sweetly and a quietly or a magnificent choir lifting the roof?

Take out your ear plugs as you journey through the valley of sound and find out about instruments, the sounds they make and how they are produced. Discover how sounds are made and which sounds travel the furthest!

I Am Warrior!

What's it all about?

I am Warrior! I am strong, brave and powerful. Meet me in battle. Draw your sword, wield your axe and challenge me if you dare! Invade and attack, Romans versus the Celts, the fight is on…

Discover warring Britain: meet Claudius, Boudicca and Julius Caesar and find out what the Romans did for us.

Get ready for Gladiator school and learn alongside Spartacus and Spiculus: brave fighters of the Roman Colosseum.

When battling makes you hungry, relax, lie back and feast yourself on dormice and grapes or perhaps a roasted swan sprinkled with nuts?
