Friends of Tetney Primary School
The Friends of Tetney Primary School, or FOTPS as we are also known, are a group of like-minded and friendly individuals whose primary objective is to raise much appreciated funds for the school. These funds enable us to purchase additional equipment and resources, which are used to support extra curricular and enrichment activities within the school.
The money is predominantly raised through hosting fun events such as our annual summer fayre, quiz nights and school discos. All of these events engage the parents, staff and of course children in lots of fun activities.
Recently FOTPS have been delighted to be able to provide the school with a new carpet cleaner, digital cameras, transport for excursions, a trip to a theme park for the year 6 pupils and a healthy £3000 contribution towards the play equipment fund.
We welcome all parents, family relations and friends to our meetings and seek your ideas and suggestions to help us to meet our fund raising goal. If you would like to know more about what we do, please come along to our next meeting, or simply stop and speak to one of the committee members.
