The main characters are Charlie Bucket, Mr and Mrs Bucket, Vueruca salt, Violet Beauregarde, Augustus Gloop, Wille Wonka, Mike Teavee, Grandma Joesphine Grandpa Joe, Grandma Goergeina, Grandpa Goerge and the Oompa Loompas. The book I’m doing a review on is James and the Giant Peach. The author of this book is Roald Dahl and the illustrator is Quentin Blake who did all the Roald Dahl pictures. The setting of James and the Giant Peach is in the Peach that is flying in the air The main characters are James, Old green Grasshopper, Centipede, Miss Spider, Small Silkworm, glamorous Glow-worm, Earthworm, lovely Ladybird last of all Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker. What happens is James has to go live with his evil Aunts. Then he flies up and up and up into the air in a Giant Peach and amazing things start to happen. I thought the book had lots of cliff hangers, but after the cliff hangers amazing things start to happen like landing some where spiecal. I would give the book a 4 and a half out of 5! I would recomend this to Ages 3 up to 17 year olds.
